Hello Creatures!
We are just having the best time on this campaign. We're still talking about how amazing the Patch Event was! Your stories for why you chose the patches were really beautiful, and we wanted to include all of them in the game. That's why, on this American Thanksgiving weekend, we quickly cooked up a Black Friday Event that will make your day!

Hello Creatures!
We have clocked 1 week on Kickstarter for Maple Valley. And what a rush it's been. In just under 1 week we can proudly say we've got $259,231CA, we are 656% funded, we have 3,225 backers and we still have 17 days to go!! I am so proud of all of us for working so hard to make this happen. If you just joined us, thanks so much for making it here. Welcome to a very fun and engaging campaign. If you've been here for a while, thank you so much for creating the engagement and hype for Maple Valley. We've been having a really great time with you. Now, let's get down to business.
What We've Unlocked
It's been a great few days reading your suggestions for patch ideas. You tired us out, really. But we chose our favourite combinations and now that we've blasted through these two Stretch Goals, they will be added to the game. Can't wait to see which two win!
What We're Working On
We are just $10 000 away from this adorable new friend, the Blue-Spotted Salamander, becoming part of the game. I can't wait to see that happen.
I just love sharing new content with new art. Especially when it's as beautiful as the Costumes Favour. We're a ways away from this Stretch Goal, but when it happens I'll be really happy.
Board Game Spotlight Play-Through
We are so excited to announce that Lizzy and Derek Funkhouser from the Board Game Spotlight Facebook group are going to be playing a two-player game of Maple Valley LIVE tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 8:30pm Central Time, or 9:30pm Eastern Time, on YouTube and Facebook. Please join us then! They always do a great job with their play-throughs so we're excited to see this one.

Hello Creatures,
Before I begin, as usual, I would like to send a warm welcome to all of our new backers since update #3, and thank all of you who have been here all week. We are so excited to have you here with us, joining in the fun. We have loved reading your patch ideas and suggestions to illustrate them. Keep it up. You only have a limited time left.
Two awesome Stretch Goals added to the game makes for more variability. First the Bake Sale Festivity and then a new Patch. This Patch's theme and image is going to be decided by you. Make sure to get your last minute ideas in.
What We're Working On
Part 2 of the Patch Event coming our way soon. We're already part of the way there.

Day 3, and Still Rollin'

Hello again Creatures,
As I do at the beginning of each update, I like to send a warm welcome to all of our new backers since update #2, and thank all of you who have been here since the beginning. We just absolutely love running Kickstarter campaigns because of all of you. None of this would be possible without our amazing backers. We love getting to know you, and enjoy spending time with you. Quite frankly, as a creator, there is nothing more gratifying! Now, let's get down to business.
First, we are pleased to announce the campaign's first Event!
What We've Unlocked
Another Stretch Goal added to the game!! The Necklace Favour. Shawna did such a beautiful job with it, I want one for myself. Are there any talented nature jewellers out there that can this create this for me 😂
Ahhhhhhh! The Pawprints! We did it! Goodbye boring old cubes, hello to most adorable paws!! These will really make the Festivities pop!!
What We're Working On
You can't have Festivity in Maple Valley without a Bake Sale. I wonder what goodies the animal kids are going to make?
The next two goals are connected the the Patch Event, and to tell you the truth, I never want this to end. The ideas that you have come up with already in the Comments section are so amazing! Reaching two new Patch Stretch Goals will make this happen!

Welcome!! We Funded!! Here We Go!!

Hello Creatures!
It is so good to see you all [again]! If you are getting this update that means you are here with us in our first hours of the Maple Valley campaign. We welcome you with open arms and are excited to spend the next 23 days with you. As you know, our campaigns are not only bright and colourful and full of beauty, they are also fun and engaging. We've been so excited to share Maple Valley with you for so long. And the day is finally here. Let me begin by congratulating all of us on a VERY successful Kickstarter launch of Maple Valley, the follow-up to Creature Comforts!
Yes, we've funded. Not only that, we've just surpassed the 200% mark. This is huge. It is record funding for us, and doubling our goal in just over an hour and a half is mind blowing. So, thank you to every single one of you for being here with us. We can't do this without you.
What We've Unlocked
I am so excited to see content being added to the game already. This game is going to get BIG! Love the Stoat and who doesn't love Cake?
What We're Working On
Creatures, you know we need this worm... Creature Comforts has a tradition of having the best start-player markers ever, and this one is so adorable!
More patches means more avenues for different strategies. This Portaging patch lets you focus on Water-traveling buddies!
